How should I do my hair?

Wear your hair in a style that’s comfortable and reflects who you are.

Trying out a new style? make sure that you do this a few times and have someone take a picture of you to ensure that your style photographs how you are envisioning. Sometimes you initial trials look good in the mirror but fall flat in the camera. Portrait day is not a good time to try a brand new hairstyle.

Visiting a professional? ensure that you give more that 2 hours between when that appointment ends and your photography appointment starts if you are doing a complicated style and are more than 30 min away from the studio. This allows you not to be stressed to make your photography appointment.

Having a simple blow-out/style? still give yourself plenty of time between the appointments for delays in prior appointment and travel delays. We do have a variety of hair salons on Vernon Street that you can check out as well to reduce your travel stress.

Need a Hair Cut? please make sure it’s at least one week before the portrait booking. We suggest not trying a NEW style or dramatic change that you have not done before.

Need a line-up? do this at least 3 days prior to ensure all goes well.

Coloring your hair? We suggest doing touch-up to your current style in needed. We suggest not trying a NEW style or dramatic change that you have not done before. If doing a change please do so at least 2 weeks before your appointment to ensure you love your style before being photographed.
