Important Copyright Notice

For photographs taken from 1930 (as of 2026) to present by a professional photographer: You must provide either: - A valid print release OR - A copyright release This is required for us to reproduce, print, or restore the image. If you are unsure whether your image requires documentation, please bring any available information to your consultation and we will review it with you.

FAQ - Can I get a restoration quote over the phone?

No. Because photo condition varies greatly, we must see the image in person to provide an accurate quote. We are unable to estimate restoration pricing over the phone or by description alone.

The cost depends entirely on: - The level of damage - The detail required - The amount of reconstruction needed - Your final product selections Each restoration is unique. An accurate quote is provided only after the in-person consultation.

FAQ - How much does it cost to have a photo scanned?

Scanning services are: - $25 per image/negative There is also a: - $25 base restoration fee per image The base restoration fee covers minor retouching such as: - Background cleanup - Minor scratches - Dust removal - Small stains - Minor surface corrections on clothing or solid areas Extensive damage, reconstruction, facial repair, missing areas, or advanced retouching will require additional restoration charges discussed during consultation.
